How It Works

Barrel Breathing

Spirits are typically aged in barrels, where the compounds in the wood oxygenate and interact with the spirit over time, imparting new flavors and mellowing harsh tones.

With our integrated wooden rods, bottled spirits can continue aging after being removed from the barrel! This enables the consumer to fine-tune the age of their spirits to their liking.

Longer aging leads to more developed and intricate flavors, as well as a smoother and more enjoyable drinking experience.

Surface Area & Volume

Aging spirits is all about the spirit interacting with the wood. The more wood surface the spirit is in contact with, the better!

This is why smaller barrels age spirits "faster". A small 5-gallon barrel can age the spirits inside approximately 4 times "faster" than a large 53-gallon barrel.

Our bottles have a surface area to volume ratio that means you only have to wait months instead of years for your spirits to become smooth and incredibly flavorful.

The Bare Wood Advantage

Genuine Aging

Without the wood being exposed to air, other methods are limited merely flavoring their spirits, not aging.

The longer our spirits stay in the bottle, the more they improve, just like in a barrel.

Wood Variety

Barrels can’t be be made of just any wood because most would leak, but our design doesn’t have to worry about leaking.

This makes for endless possibilities... Oak, maple, hickory, cherry, and many more!

Fine-Tuned Control

Each bottle comes covered with a resealable collectable cap.

Remove the cap to expose the wood to the air and begin aging. Once it tastes just right, put the cap back on to stop the aging!
