Our Spirits
At Bare Wood Spirits, every bottle begins with a carefully selected barrel — chosen for its character, quality, and potential.
From there, we do something different.
Instead of simply bottling the spirit and calling it finished, we use our patented bottle design to introduce a curated stave of wood directly into each bottle. That stave is selected by species, toast, char, smoke, soak, or finish, creating small-batch variations that continue the story of the original barrel in a way no ordinary bottle can.
That process allows a single barrel to become a collection of limited expressions — each shaped by the original spirit and the specific wood inside the bottle.
Our label is designed to make that story clear. When you pick up a bottle of Bare Wood, you can see exactly what you hold: the spirit, the wood, the finish, the batch, and the individual bottle number.

BW Heritage Batches
Our Heritage batches are created to offer consistency, quality, and availability without sacrificing character.
We source these bourbons from MGP, one of the most respected whiskey producers in the United States. Their classic high-rye bourbon provides a reliable foundation for our patented bottle-aging process, while each Bare Wood stave adds its own final layer of character.

Our first partnership here in Missouri, we have been good friends with the Blacksmith Artisanal Spirits family for years. They produce award-winning, hand crafted, small batch spirits from family recipes handed down for generations.
